Daily Prayers
Refuge
I go for refuge until I am
enlightened,
To the Buddha, the Dharma and the Supreme Assembly
By the merit of generosity and other good deeds, may I
achieve
Buddhahood for the benefit of all migrating beings.
Four Immeasurables
May all sentient beings have
happiness and the cause of happiness.
May all sentient beings be free from suffering and the cause
of suffering.
May all sentient beings not be separated from the happiness
that is without suffering.
May all sentient beings abide in equanimity, free of
attachment and hatred for those held close and distant.
Seven Limbs
I bow down prostrate to all
the Buddha's and ayra beings.
And make each and every offering, those actually arranged
and those mentally transformed.
I confess all negativities and transgressions collected
since beginningless time
And rejoice in the virtues of ordinary beings and aryas.
I dedicate the merits of myself and others to the great
great enlightlightenment
Please remain supremely until cyclic existence is emptied
And turn the wheel of Dharma for the sake of migrators.
Mandala Offering
This ground, anointed with
incense and strewn with flowers,
Adorned with Mount Meru, the four continents, sun and moon,
I offer, visualized as a Buddha realm.
May all migrators enjoy this completely pure realm.

This prayer of
supplication for the long life of Sera Je Tre Hor Geshe
Kangurwa Khensur Losang Thubten Rinpoche, possessor of
extensive listening, was composed by myself, Trijang
Trulku, having the title, Junior Tutor to His Holiness
the Dalai Lama. The need for this prayer was made known
to me through requests accompanied with offering scarves
and precious gifts by his many disciples along with the
students of Sera Tre Hor. (It was translated into
English by Gelong Jampa Gendun during the southern
summer of 1991).
